Piko Privacy Policy

1. Access to your Photo Library

Piko asks for access to the Photo Library on your iPhone so it can display, organize, and let you review your photos and videos.

That access is used only to provide the app’s features: reviewing photos, marking favorites, grouping items by album, month, or category, and managing items you choose to discard.

Your photos and videos are not uploaded to Piko or DE3 servers.

2. On-device processing

Analysis and organization of your Photo Library happen locally on your device.

Piko does not need to send your photos or videos to external servers to perform its core features.

3. Deleting photos

Piko does not delete photos automatically.

Items you discard stay in Piko Trash first, so you can review and restore them before you confirm deletion.

When you confirm deletion, Piko asks iOS to carry out that operation. Apple may then keep those items in Recently Deleted, according to how iOS works and how you have it configured.

4. Personal information

Piko does not require you to create an account to use the app.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address to use Piko’s core features.

5. Advertising and tracking

Piko does not use your photos for advertising.

Piko does not sell your photos, videos, or personal information.

Piko does not use your photos to build advertising profiles or to track you across apps or websites.

6. Third-party services

The operating system and services provided by Apple may process certain information needed to distribute, sell, run, or diagnose the app.

That processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policies and settings.

7. Purchases

If Piko offers in-app purchases, they are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Piko does not receive or store your full card or payment-method details.

8. Security

Piko is designed around on-device processing and collecting as little data as possible.

By keeping Photo Library processing on the device, we reduce the need to transmit or store personal content on external infrastructure.

9. Children

Piko is not designed to deliberately collect personal information from children, and it does not require an account to use its core features.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Piko’s features, legal requirements, or the technologies the app uses change.

The date of the last update will appear at the top of this policy.
